homeschoolmom Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Anyone else watch the price jump yesterday? It was like $1.89 in the morning and $2.03 at night. $35 to fill my van!!! What's it out there?
Colleen Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 It's about $2.05 here. But it's been that way for a while. I don't know if it's jumped today though. I haven't been out yet. Let's just say we're not using our big van very much.
annie Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 I just paid 46 bucks to fill my mini van---whoa, I never even look at the prices when I pull in, but on the way out saw it was $2.15 for the cheapest octane. When did that happen???? (Chicagoland)
CreepyCrawler Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 metro-detroit, oakland county: $1.99/gallon at a cheapie-but-good-enough station. i wish we had good public transport.
CreepyCrawler Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 maybe this will force people to car-pool and try to conserve gas.... there's always a silver lining.
the_rev Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 I ride my bike alot, because of high gas prices, because I buy my grandma her gas! $2.13 here!
Krush2k2 Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Yea-same as dUSt, 1.70-us Dallas peeps r lucky(kinda)

Rumors say that summer driving prices might break $3!! a gallon!!! Well at least we are getting off foregin oil with more intrest in electric and H cars. But I would really hate to be one of those people who bought an H2! You know what is odd? The gas station is only making like 3-5 cents on the gallon. Most of the profit is that candy bar you buy with the gas. Gas prices need to go DOWN!
voiciblanche Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 Eh. Here's it's like $1.79 or $1.83 or something like that. I guess we Metroplex people are kinda lucky, right, dUSt? I wouldn't know, though, because I don't drive, lol.
Colleen Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004
2.05 from Byron to Kenosha today, no exceptions.
Really? Because when we filled the van up today in Racine, the price had jumped. To $2.15!
Iacobus Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 When we left Rockford and filled up it was still 2.05 and when we got home and retopped it was still 2.05.
