Yeah, it was planned but I guess they made a big deal out of it in the media back then. I think I was in diapers at the time. It must have been pretty funny.

And yes, I think Skylab looks amesome. So much room inside for flying around. Those astronauts must have had a blast. I love the converse shoes and the beards.

I have to agree. We had a conspiracy theorist in my cohort who would spin these elaborate plots. Usually the reply by one of us would start off, "D. There's a major problem in that first thing."
