I came across these pics thanks to an "Imagine Sisters" Facebook post. On that day, one sister made her first profession, while another renewed her vows. It was such a beautiful ceremony!

Oh and they have two postulants who happen to be twins :smile3:

Do those postulants look like sisters to anybody else, or is it just me?

Sisters as in, blood sisters. ;)

Haha check out the time on our comments. I asked my question a minute after you added it to your OP. :)
Glad they are together, that must be nice on the parents!

There is quite a few orders in Texas including the Discalced Carmelites in Arlington, Dallas, New Caney, and San Antonio.

You might be interested in the Capuchin Poor Clares in Amarillo, the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration in San Antonio, or the Poor Clares in Brenham.

Thank you! The site is so encouraging. I am in a very anti-Catholic area and just looking at all these sisters in my state raises my spirits. :)

:woot: Just today the twin postulants were interviewed by the news station in Corpus Christi. It is available here:

That really is both amazing and rare that God would not only call twin sisters to the same order but at the same time. I've heard of twins entering the same order but at separate times so their formation was separate, such as the Australian twins in the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. One entered about two years before the other became a postulant, so the other was making first vows while the other was beginning formation. :)

Just contacted these sisters. Long, bizarre story to how I found them.
