Special Intention

While doing my prayer today I got stuck with an idea. I am hopingto share to those who might be interested. There are communities nowadays that due to some sociological instances like they are a bit unknown or technological like they are too late to adopt to modern technology to recruit vocations. There are a lot of orthodox and faithful communities both to their charism and mission that are dying. How about offering a prayer for them during the Consecration on the Holy Mass? or perhaps a decade of holy rosary or a bit of mortification or penance like keeping your razzle dazzle while you are stuck in a traffic offering it for them? For myself I am offering it for [b]Sisters of St Rita,[/b] that by the end of the year they might have solid vocations for their community. You can post the congregation(s) etc that you are praying with as well especially those with habits but are dying...[url="http://www.sistersofstrita.org/"]http://www.sistersofstrita.org/[/url]

It's really sad to hear communities are closing just because no more vocations are coming to them. We must continue to pray for religious vocations and ask Our Blessed Mary, Mother of Vocations for this grace.


Oh Mary, we entrust to you apostolate of the laity, the ministry of priest, the witness of the religious. We pray to you that the priestly and religious vocations be widely appreciated and followed for the glory of God and the vitality of the church. May a new resurgence of vocations, a new increase of them in the whole church be a particular proof of Your maternal presence in the mystery of Christ in our times, and in the ministry of the church throughout the whole world. Amen.
