I'm happy, oh! so very happy!!!!!!!!!! :cheer: :irish: :lol3:

So, I just came back from Camp Veritas (I got home at 6:00ish this evening ). Can I just say that it was absolutly AMAZING!!!!!!!! So, as you may remember, I was going through some issues with dicrnment and I was thinking I didn't have a vocation to religious life.. blaw blaw blaw... Praise be Jesus Christ, however!!!! he is so amazing for leading me to this camp! So I had always felt I was called to be a Sister of Life. So, Guess what (for those of you who don't know)? At this camp there were like around 10ish novices from the sisters of life! :woot: :woot: :woot: I tried to avoid them at first but then by the second day I was doing everything with them (eating, praying, playing sports, talking with them as often as time would permit!) It was amesome!!!!!! I have decided I love them so much!!!! :hehe2: During adoration everyday I could just feel God calling me. He was just saying "come follow me, you are mine!". I resisted at first but then I realized how selfish I was being towards him and by the third day I gave in. Ya know...Jesus is just so sweet! I couldn't resist his love anymore! I now feel VERY strongly that I am called to the sisters of life. I'm planning on registering for a come and see retreat sometime in the future! I'm so happy! God is so Good! He never left my side for a moment and He gave me an exponential amount of love and grace to get through the hard time I was having with my discernment. He is just SO amesome! I would love it if you could continue to pray for me and know that I will be praying for all of you daily! (I miss the sisters already and it's only been a few hours!!!! :hehe2: )

YAY!!!
:woot:
I am so so happy to hear this. The Sisters of Life seem like an amazing community.

Praised be Jesus Christ indeed! You will be in my prayers.

Seriously, if I felt called to an active apostolate I'd head straight for the Sisters of Life.

Annie,

It was so great meeting you. I know we didn't talk much, but I'm so happy for you! I feel a push towards the Sisters of Life also, and Camp sparked the desire for Jesus even more in me. :)

Prayers for you in your discernment! :smile2:

Annie, I am so happy for you!!! Praise God that your discernment progressed during this camp. The Sisters of Life are beautiful, and so needed in our country. :)

Was one of the novices Mary Benedicta? I think that was her name. She's in my picture, but its tiny so I will try to post it here for you.

Deo Gratias! I had prayed recently for your God's help with your vocation. God has some great purpose for your love for Him. The Sisters of Life would be a wonderful way it serve and love Him, should it be His will.

Best of Hope to you sister in Christ. I will continue to recall you in prayer.
God Bless

I am sure it was. As nice as she was, it makes me so happy to think of you knowing TEN Srs of Life novices. Lucky duck.

I totally went through that at a conference this summer! I met two DSMME...but I haven't met any Sisters of Life yet. :( You know TEN! Did you meet Sr. Faustina?? I saw a video of her on YouTube telling her vocation story. :)

Annie12, it is so contagious to hear your excitement for these sisters, but mostly for your vocation and, of course, your Lord Jesus! You now know he loves you so very much. I am sure it gave Him great joy to read your post today. You know He did! Prayers for you and your discernment / vocation to the Sisters of Life.

I was guessing ten... let me count how many there are in a picture I took of them as a group... lets see... I counted 11 sisters but I didn't get to meet 3 of them (there wasn't enough time :hehe2: ) So, I guess I met 8 of the 11 that came! Its just so amesome!

Edit: Also, I was focusing on meeting the sisters. So, I didn't tell them I was interested in their order. But Soon enough they will know! :hehe2:

I feel so bubbly and happy right now... sorta like a soda that has been shaken up and is ready to explode! :yahoo:
