I was at the point where I thought I had sufficiently scoured the net for Poor Clare videos, so I would not have come across the first video if you had not posted it.

Edit: I really like how the article discusses the summer heat as a serious penance. That is why Mother advised me to enter in January, if I am accepted. She said it is too much to be overwhelmed by heat and the whole cloister in the first weeks.

Also, that Abbess seems extremely kind and joyous, but I see very little similarities between her and other Abbesses I have met. Of course, there are different types, but I would have bet that the first nun was the Abbess, not the second! I kept rewinding the video to make sure I read her title correctly. I am not sure why I had this reaction!

Also, I have a question about PC's veils. [img]http://archstl.org/files/field-image/pc_reading_outdoors_1_new.jpg[/img]
As seen in this picture, the veil has a black headband looking thing that comes down over the white wimple/guimp. What is this? Is it permanently attached to the veil? Thanks!

I think this is her as well:

p.s. I'm pretty sure the Novice (& postulant in additional pics link) in the one video is our Maria_Faustina  :like: (edit: not revealing anything new here, she let us know, pretty sure it's her, yay!!!)
