He said that since I will be sixteen soon we can talk about arranging a visit sometime in the near future! I didn't think I would go on one until I was seventeen at least! This is so [i]a[/i]wesome.

I said getting there would be a little bit tricky in terms of money, but that we would definitely figure something out. It isn't that we don't have the money to go per se, we would just have to pull it out of some places that were meant to be paid for other things. Indiana is a little far away from Kansas, but it's not as bad as it could be.

It's definitely closer than some of the Communities I have discerned with, like the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in New York, or the Redemptorists in Ireland and Quarr Monastery in England.

I had to wait an entire year before I was allowwed to go after being accepted for a visit!

The friars are so holy and fun and total guys--have I told you about the times when they were racing each other across Notre Dame's campus or when they were beating each other up with their duffel bags?
