Retreat With The Dsmme?

Has anyone on here gone? if so, what did you think? What happens on a retreat?

the retreat is a 24 hour awareness of the Eucharistic Presence of God in your life...it is fun, surprising, joyful, emotional, restive, challenging, awe.some

I know you didn't leave because of the community.

The retreat sounds a.wesome...

it also magnifies the role Our Lady, as Mother of the Eucharist and Mother of us all, plays in your life....

you also meet other girls who are in various stages of discernment... its a great time to make new friends, and who knows? someday they may become your religious family!

I know Mon has been on a couple and I think there might be a few others on here who have been on one.

I had very good experiences on retreats with them. There are a few talks about discernment/religious life in general, a Marian procession, all night Adoration, Mass, hearing the postulants' stories, really fun white elephant game after dinner, and lots and lots of talking with other women who are in varying stages of discernment and the Sisters as well. It's a really good chance to get away from life and spend time with God and other women trying to live how God wants them to.

I went to two of them......the retreats are amesome! I can't really say what goes on cuz you have to be there to see what happens! Something beautiful happens to everyone at the Retreat....some of them can't see it at the time but others see it right away!!

Also, if you're anything like me there will be lots and lots of happy or healing crying happening.
