OnlySunshine Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 As those of us who have been watching the weather updates know, Hurricane Sandy is barreling down on New York, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. I am really concerned for religious communities in this area, especially the Franciscan Sisters and Friars of the Renewal, the Sisters of Life, the Summit Dominicans, Little Sisters of the Poor, Carmelites in Buffalo and Brooklyn, and others. If anyone has any updates regarding the religious, I'm sure we would like to know. I'm hoping to see the CFRs soon and I am praying that all the religious are spared from major disaster.
