So yesterday I just felt the sudden urge to get back to something I love, but haven't done in over 15 years... paint. Of course, all I had to work with was a bunch of leftover house paint and a few tubes of acrylic from my kid's art sets--with Wal Mart paint brushes. Needless to say, the medium was a bit challenging and frustrating, but I felt good after I finished. I've always wanted to do a painting rendition of one of Dan Paulos' paper cutouts... so here it is. I put the little kid in the picture for perspective. danpaulos.com for my inspiration.
