OK. So it appears that this is where all the hip Catholics are hanging out. Well, then this must be where I need to be to find new evangelists for our national street evangelization apostolate. Check us out:

This seems like a great idea. Some people have never had the opportunity to be raised in the Catholic Church or any Christian Faith, so by offering individuals the opportunity to approach and ask more about Christ in a friendly environment. Forcing faith on to people rarely works, but witnessing and offering information when asked is a great way to share our faith. A Catholic group on my campus (Catholic Christian Outreach) does similar, they set up tables and are simply there to share their faith to students who seek to learn, and that's how I found about the Catholic Church after being raised Protestant. I even volunteered a few times at one of the tables on campus, and I originally thought it wouldn't work, no one will ask, but even if it was only a couple of people day, they still came from all sorts of backgrounds. It was a good experience, so I support what you are doing. Keep up the good work! =)

Thanks! First of all, we think you are correct in your assessment of effective evangelization vs. ineffective evangelization. This is why what we do is completely non-confrontational, or at least as non-confrontational as witnessing can be. We set up somewhere and allow the Holy Spirit to bring people to us. Even so, we never run out of people who want to engage us in conversation. It is truly amazing seeing the way the Holy Spirit can move in people with such a simple method. Maybe the simpleness of it is what makes it so effective. If your interested in getting involved with a currently running SPSE in your area, or in starting your own, we will help you: http://streetevangelization.com/get-involved/

Na I am here. I have been looking through the website. I don't have much time to do much posting but will do what I can. I am trying to promote, but I see from another recent post that Brother Adam, our Lansing leader and webmaster, has been doing some of that. http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/topic/123709-st-paul-street-evangelization/
