Which Spirituality Do You Identify With Most?

Just curious what sorts of hearts are in our phamily.

I don't know exactly which I identify with yet. However, I do believe that the Franciscan spirituality isn't for me. So that's where I'm at, I guess

Franciscan of course, , but I love the Passionist spirituality (many common points with the Franciscan one).

The spirituality of Blessed Charles de Foucauld (Brother Charles of Jesus), which a bishop overseeing the foundation of the Little Sisters of Jesus described as being like a marriage between the Vincentians and the Carmelites.

It's kind of hard for me to say exactly which spirituality I fit in with. I answered Passionist because I think that's the one I fit the most. I don't yet know if I'm called to cloistered life or not though. If I'm not called to the cloister then I would say probably Sealisian.

I'm 100% Marian but I am also very attracted to Augustinian and Franciscan spiritualities. For a long time, I considered contacting the [url="http://www.lampsalight.org/"]Augustinian nuns[/url] or the [url="http://www.sistersofstrita.org/"]Sisters of St. Rita[/url]. The Augustinian nuns live a very contemplative life and St. Augustine is one of my most favorite saints. I love his writings.

I love the Franciscan spirituality and, if I could join any order in the world, it would be either the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal or the Poor Clare Colettines. I love their austerity and love of Lady Poverty. Little St. Francis is amesome!

This is a no-brainer for me. I have tried to fit in with other spiritualities but Carmel got into my blood and isn't ever going to let go. I love St Francis and St Calre (my confirmation name is Claire) and I totally love the Benedict/Scholastic story but Sts Teresa and John stole my heart a long time ago and I am a daughter of Carmel now.

But isn't it wonderful that the Church is so rich in diversity that it has blessed us with all these amazing spiritualities and saints?

Mater Im with you, for the sisters of Saint Rita. Saint Augustian I can see myself helping to take care of people in many different ways that dont need me to be a CNA but let me help in other ways. I am a security officer..so i work with people ALOT!! Plus Im older..and reading what the sister said..absolutely clicked with me! Praise Jesus!!

I voted "other" because I find many parts of so many of the spirtiualities ring within me strongly. I guess that's why I" pursuing diocesan life rather than Religious Life.
