My brother-in-law is one of the sheriff's who patrols the waters below the Golden Gate Bridge.... and I know he has also risked his life a number of times to rescue jumpers. This person reminds me of Australia's late "Angel of the Gap", who talked 160 people out of suicide on the cliffs by his home over the decades.
