Intervention

An acquaintance of mine, C. B., is rapidly deteriorating before my eyes. He is a non-traditional student (late 40s/early 50s) who is very unhappy with his present life. He has become clinically depressed. His father died a year ago leaving his ailing mother alone with no one but C. B. to care for her. He has huge student loans (at his age...), is extremely isolated (college town), and very, very lonely. He feels that everyone is against him, and indeed, has no one to support him. The last few weeks I have seen him in the middle of the day, on his way to class, very drunk. I think he is disappearing down the hole. He needs an intervention. Please pray that he will get the intervention he needs, and that he will respond to it positively.
