NatalieisCatholic Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hey everyone! Recently I heard about the Trinitarians of Mary and I really like their apostolate and I think it's cool how they're contemplative and non-cloistered. I've never heard of a religious order like that! Their website is really nice (http://www.trinitariansofmary.org/), but I was wondering if anyone knows any more information about them. I was also curious whether they follow the Rule of St. Benedict or not. Thanks! [attachment=3102:narrow-walkway-sisters.jpg] (Their veils are so beautiful!)
EmilyAnn Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 We had a PMer enter there this summer! This is her countdown thread, she answered a lot of questions about the community there. She always spoke wonderfully of them.
NatalieisCatholic Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 That's so cool! I didn't know about her! (I'm pretty new to PM.) Thank you so much! :proud:
OnlySunshine Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Their spirituality is very Carmelite, by appearances, because of their prayers for priests. :)
Feankie Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Any community that prays for priests gets two thumbs up from me
OnlySunshine Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 They are a very beautiful order. Their habit reminds me of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate. :)
Rosa immaculata Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 They are a very beautiful order. Their habit reminds me of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate. :) Oh yes! Their habit is marvellous! These sisters are definitely Marian and Eucharistic, and they have many vocations! They run several ministries in their convents for lays; perhaps they follow the Augustinian rule, I don't really know... Prayers for your discernment!

NatalieisCatholic Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Their spirituality is very Carmelite, by appearances, because of their prayers for priests. :) I love their devotion to Our Lady and to the Eucharist! Also, their prayer for priests is just awesome! They do a lot of work with the poor as well. If I'm not mistaken, they have a school for girls in Mexico! I might be able to go on a discernment retreat with them next month. Please pray that I'll be able to go! :nunpray:
John Paul Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I read their website they follow the Primitive Rule of the Carmelites.
veritasluxmea Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Sisters Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus are also contemplative and non-cloistered, just as an fyi.
OnlySunshine Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Here is an old thread on non-cloistered contemplative orders if anyone is interested.
Yesenia E Salamanca Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 If anybody wants to know about the Trinitarians of Mary, you could ask me.
