Thank you all for your prayers for Kennedy! After two days of tests, Kennedy has her results and knows what has been causing her illness. She has Ebstein-Barr Virus (EBV), which causes Mono and is not uncommon in transplant patients. To treat or inactivate the virus her anti-rejection medications need to be lowered, but of course this means that the chances of her liver going through rejection are increased.

 

She is still able to attend school and will hopefully be able to still make her trip to Hawaii. Her mother is asking that people pray that Kennedy's body can quickly get the virus levels down low or undetectable without any rejection issues. They have true faith in God and His providence.
