The other day in religion class we had a guest speaker (our diocese vocation director).  Fr. Bach (the speaker) would give you an Air Head (candy) if you asked a question so I asked him, "Can nuns be veterinarians?"  He started laughing at this question but when he settled down he said yes they can be and there is actually a community down in Pikeville, Ky that are nuns.  A guy who is a friend of mine looked over at me and said he knew where to find me in 10 years! :)

One of my friends is in a community where the Sisters live and pray together but go out to work in a variety of ministries, and one of her Sisters is a veterinarian!

I thought the title of this thread mean veterans, as in military veterans.  so yes, they can be veterans too!
