Kennedy Schoenecker - Update.

Thanks again to all who have been praying for Kennedy (13 year old girl who had a liver transplant last year). I know her family would be very appreciative.

 

She has spent the last few days being tested, and it appears that her illness is to be diagnosed as PTLD, a result of the virus (EBV) she was previously suspected to have. PTLD is serious and life threatening if not controlled. Thankfully, Kennedy is currently at a clinic with doctors who have seen the illness before and who are confident they can treat it.

 

Kennedy is feeling a lot better and is finally able to sleep without feeling or being ill. Her liver is doing really well in spite of the EBV. Her mother is asking for continued prayers, particularly the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Please, when you are able, offer up a prayer for Kennedy, her family and her support team.
