SBC went on strike. Why a company that doubled its CEO's salary last year (18 mill from 9 mill) would need to reduce benefits is pretty well beyond me.

Thank God for unions, even if they can be as corrupt as businesses.

And yes, unions can be as corrupt as a game for a TRS-80 on tape.

Take our Local 211 Pipefitters Union. The only people getting jobs there these days are the best drinking buddies of the guys in charge. Say a prayer for the unemployed.
