A couple of their Sisters in La Crosse from Mater Redemptoris House of Formation (http://www.materredemptoris.org/) went down with some young women for a visit.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/materredemptoris/sets/72157633169564738/show/

Is the postulant Queen's Daughter? :nun3:

Queen'sDaughter posted here a few months ago that she was no longer a part of the community because of health problems.

I love that Benedictine habit... [sigh]

EDIT: BTW, check out the last photo in the slideshow. That sister is wearing a Regina Laudis apron! LOL!

Neat! Thanks for pointing that out :like: I like these pictures... and I just realized I know someone who knows their current postulant :)

Well, there are also Alton Franciscans who teach at St. James Academy in Lenexa, and some go to school at Benedictine College.

I visited the Alton Franciscans in the fall; they're a lovely order, and I felt kind of bad having to tell them I only visited to make sure I was really a Dominican. :P

I remember these pictures so I had to look them up again. :) I know the current postulant there, and hopefully soon we'll have word of her Clothing; though it might be some more months until because she hasn't been a Postulant for very long. From the website it seems that they keep a strict silence during the day except for the recreation hour. I know they don't have a strict cloister but I was wondering how often they have visits like this (those coming to the monastery for retreats and visiting the Sisters) and do they leave the monastery often? Though I don't think they really do, but I have seen videos and pictures of them at other Churches for ceremonies such as the Sisters having clothings and professions. May God reward you for answering the questions. :)
