Drones for surveillance...OK like satellites, just more controllable...Drones for weapons, no good it's too easy to be willing to push a button when there is no-one on your side in danger.

Drones are just a weapon.  They aren't any more destructive than traditional aircraft.  So I have no problem with drones that wouldn't apply equally to any military air power.  I do have a big problem with the Obama administration's drone program and their refusal to declassify the legal rational for killing an American citizen overseas without due process who was not immediately engaged in direct violent action against American personnel

Drone strikes are and will be immoral until they make a device that allows you to control them with your XBox. At that point, I will be having too much fun blowing up empty car lots and rain forests to care.

reasons I'm against:

 

because it is likely to create terrorists, because it has been the cause of hundreds of innocents deaths (which may not be accurate because erry adult male killed is considered a combatant, because I have a distaste for neo-imperialism, because there's not a chance in hell it abides by just law principles unless you do some amazing mental gymnastics, and because it causes terror (you might even call it . . .  terrorism!)
