If all priests can be traced back to the apostles, and the apostles could like heal people and stuff, why can't priests do that?

And also, is it a sin to hurt yourself by say, popping a pimple or pulling a hangnail?

There are many priests who possess the gifts of healing. There are many gifts of the Spirit and we each possess different ones for the good of the whole Church. The Gifts are still operative.

Pull all the hang nails you want.
