PadrePioOfPietrelcino Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Sorry to the pham for not being able to get online sooner to share the news, but thus is the life working at a summer camp. On my birthday (July 5) I received the phone call that my Archbishop has received and accepted my application to Seminary :bananarap: . We are now in the process of applying to the seminary itself, which proves interesting when you have to drive several miles to get to a connection in an already busy day. Thank-you to everybody who has been praying for me. I should be more regularly on here again probably next weekend, but also this weekend as I won't be at the camp. PAX
dymphnamaria Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Great news! It's good to know many are into priesthood..
Stella Matutina Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That is wonderful news! May Our Lord gift you with the grace to speedily discern your vocation and act it out in a way that is pleasing to Him, whatever your vocation may be!
ACS67 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Oh wow! That is such great news. I remember your story from last year. I am so happy you persevered and now you will be in the seminary! Glory to God!
TheresaThoma Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 So excited for you! Prayers that the process continues to go smoothly!

PhuturePriest Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I already told you on Facebook, but congratulations again! Who knows, maybe one day we can celebrate the Mass together and hear each others' confessions. ;)
Gabriela Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I already told you on Facebook, but congratulations again! Who knows, maybe one day we can celebrate the Mass together and hear each others' confessions. ;) You mean after you convert to Anglicanism, get ordained, marry, and then re-enter the True Faith as Father Of-a-Van-Full-of-Cute-Faces?
PhuturePriest Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 You mean after you convert to Anglicanism, get ordained, marry, and then re-enter the True Faith as Father Of-a-Van-Full-of-Cute-Faces? Well, if I became a Priest, I would probably forget about the wife and kids to just forgo the trouble, but that's another idea to consider, I guess.
PadrePioOfPietrelcino Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 Thanks to everyone for all of your excited responses. It's going to be a busy month getting ready to leave. I'm looking at packing stuff up around my apartment and just thinking...Where did all of this even come from? Most of us are so blessed that our excess wealth just builds up around us and we barely even notice it. I guess it's just one of the many lessons I will be continuing to learn along the way.
