This is a good group to have, but I object to them calling themselves Leonie's longing. Leonie never left the convent, she struggled to find the right one, and she endured when she did find the right place for her.

Savvy -- I don't know if you realize but a number of women (myself included) enter more than once, so a reference to Leonie is relevant.  The concept is the searching/longing to find where God wants you.

I do apologize if it seemed that I came on strong.  I've gotten tired of the "automatic judging" that goes on at times on the phorum.

 

If you get a chance (and others) listen to the chat.  Leonie's Longing is a new emerging ministry, and I think it's been long overdue.  There are a number of us on the phorum who have had to do the transition from religious life (be it a few months, a year, two, or even 10) and had to do it "alone" with, if we were lucky, some support from family and friends.  It isn't easy and I am encouraged by the existence of the new site.
