Luigi Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 There's a Trappistine hermit at Mississippi Abbey in Iowa. She just celebrated her golden jubilee as a Trappist nun, but she's beena hermit for over thirty years. check out the February 7th post at: http://mississippiabbey.blogspot.com/
Pia Jesu Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Yes, the stories are incredibly interesting! There is also a new book by Isacco Turina called The New Hermits: The Flight from the World in Modern Italy. Not sure it is available yet in the USA. The online reviews are compelling!
