Someone called me out recently on supporting Roman Catholic nunnabes but I think monasticism is one of the few things that transcends the gaps between us. A nun is a nun, in my experience, and whatever we lack in this life will be made up in the next. I have the same experience of longing, emotion and awe at the enormity of what is happening when I see photos like these as when I've been at Orthodox tonsurings. Thanks for linking to them!
