puellapaschalis Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Came across this today, enjoy! A tip: if you are looking for a good OSB place, run and do not walk to St. Cecilia's.
Anselm Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 It's a wonderful place! Was there on Corpus Christi last year, when I was staying up the road at Quarr Abbey and jumped in the taxi that was taking one of the monks to say the Mass.
Jennifer Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Thank you for sharing this lovely video. The chanting is beautiful.
EmilyAnn Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 It's funny, I was only there for a short time but seeing it there, it's as familiar as my own home. It's also very exciting seeing some of the sisters there as postulants and novices and I know that they're juniors or professed by now!
Chiquitunga Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 wow! so much beauty! thank you for sharing!
Charbel Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 JMJ, May the Lord bless you and keep you  It is so lovely to see the grace with which they do their tasks. Thank you for thinking to share it with us :nun1:
SNJM Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 This is especially beautiful and extremely well done. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us! Rose

Anselm Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I didn't know that they did that, thank you. When I was last there I read the first reading during Mass and it was extraordinary to stand at the lectern in the sanctuary, facing into the nuns' choir. There are so many of them!
puellapaschalis Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) I did that once during a short visit. The phrase that popped into my head was b****y terrifying, but then I'm not very politecivilised/well-spoken/all the rest of it ;) Edited October 26, 2014 by puellapaschalis
