nikita92 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Does anyone know of any communities located near any Amish settlements in Ohio, Indiana or Pennsylvania? Thanks
Luigi Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) There's a monastery of Dominican nuns in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania - the heart of Amish country. www.opnunslancaster.org/ Edited November 4, 2014 by Luigi
Kateri89 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 The Capuchin Sisters of Nazareth are in Williamsport PA. I'm not sure how many Amish are actually nearby but it's very rural, lots of farms, small town charm. I just visited them in September and I can attest to the beauty of their surroundings. Didn't see any Amish while I was there though.
