Strictlyinkblot Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Hi everyone I have a favour to ask. Is there anyone on here who can convert a microsoft document into a kindle file? I'm willing to pay. Also, is anyone willing to post a fair review of my book on Amazon and/or review it on their blog in return for a free copy? I don't want to end up paying a fortune in promotion and advertising if I can avoid it. Hopefully my book will be ready to self-publish in about a month or two.
TheresaThoma Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Inky, I don't know how to convert the file but I am willing to help with promotion. I looked on Amazon and I found this guide. Maybe this will help? http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/digital/otp/help/Building-Your-Book-for-Kindle.pdf
Spem in alium Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I have just started writing for an online Catholic magazine for Australians/New Zealanders. I can try and promote it there if you like. :)
Lioba Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I can do it. It's so fast and easy, there is no need for you to pay anything. One caveat: To convert succesfully in an visually pleasing format, you should opt for as little formatting as possible.
