LoveZoe11 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Can anyone help me find women's communities with a Marian spirituality or that practice Marian consecration? I know of the Franciscans of the Immaculate and the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa but would like to find more.
totustuus20 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary but they only have latin mass I believe, so if you are only familiar with the Novus Ordo, that might become an issue. I believe most sisters have some sort of marian spirituality. The RSM of Alma, for example have a devotion to Mary though it is not their primary focus. In addition, the Carmelites have marian devotion, as well as many other orders.

OnlySunshine Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Most religious orders, these days, identify with the Marian spirituality. There are some that are very Marian, however. The ones I can think of are: Carmelites Dominicans Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal Franciscan Sisters TOR Marian Sisters of Lincoln Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church Sisters of Life Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate Trinitarians of Mary Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church
John Paul Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Sisters of the Humility of Mary ? Do you want to wear a habit? What kind of prayer lifef that may help us.
4LoveofJMJ Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love. Never heard of them before but they look new. Children of Mary
NadaTeTurbe Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 http://sndlasalette.free.fr/ Soeurs de Notre Dame de la Salette Don't worry because they are french, they have a lot of non french speaking sisters. THey are consecrated to Notre Dame de la Salette. They have a secial spirit of "reconciliation" according to the message of La Salette. If you want more information, I can translate to you the "our life" page of their website. http://www.sndden.org/en/home/ Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur I have a special love for them. One of their sister, Sister DOrothy, was murdered because she defended indigenous people in Brasil. I strongly advise you to give a look at their website. http://bonsecoursvocations.org/vocation-information/exploring-a-vocation/ Sisters of Bon Secours They have a very special history, coming from the French Revolution, http://bonsecoursvocations.org/who-we-are/spirituality/
