Yes!.. We "Little Friar and Little Nuns of Jesus and May" are here,
though we go by the name "Poor Friars" over the internet.... (easier to remember).

Our Mother house is found in the diocese of Noto in Sicily,
we have another community in the diocese of Olbia in the Western Italian Island of Sardinia,
another community in the Northern Italian diocese of Cremona,
and our community here in the diocese of Houma-Thibodax, Louisiana - USA.

Recognized by the Catholic Church at a Diocesan level, as Public Association in anticipation of becoming an Institute of Consecrated Life with an Episcopal Decree of the 30th of May 2014. You may view this video of the approval: https://vimeo.com/97927764

Do you know the little sisters of the lamb ? They have a similar vocation of mendicity (like the originals dominicans)

There's an awful lot of fabric in those habits. I can see it's usefulness in winter. I wonder--do they have winter and summer habits?
