It turns out that St. Louise de Marillac, co-foundress of the original Daughters of Charity, was a talented artist and created a painting of the Sacred Heart a generation before St. Mary Margaret Alacoque.   Devotion to the Sacred Heart was, and is, integral to the charism of the Sisters of Charity, including their Blessed Miriam Teresa.

These websites belongs to the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth (Seton), whose College of St. Elizabeth, in financial straits, just received a 2.3 million dollar grant, one of their largest bequests.
