luxetveritas
Hi Phatmass Phamily, I was wondering if any of you could help me out on here. I'm discerning religious life and I was wondering if you know of any communities in which Eucharistic Adoration is a very important part of their community life. I know there are some orders that don't use Eucharistic Adoration much. . .I'm looking for ones where that may be their primary focus and/or its a very important part of their life aside from their apostulate. Thank you!

Strictlyinkblot
Are you looking for contemplative or active communities? If what you're looking for contemplative communities there are the Benedictines of Adoration who are all over the world, the Perpetual Adoration sisters who originate from France, Poor Clare communities generally have a focus on adoration, but especially Mother Angelica's community who have perpetual adoration. And there's Dominicans, Summit Dominicans have all day adoration and all night adoration three times a week. If you're looking for active communities there's Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, https://www.fspa.org/ and the Sisters of St Francis of Perpetual Adoration www.ssfpa.org . The DSMME have adoration every day I believe
luxetveritas
Right now I'm looking into both contemplative and active communities. . .For active communities an order that generally would have some eucharistic adoration daily. Thank you all for your help!!
TheresaThoma
The Community of St John have daily Adoration. For the Apostolic Sisters the blessed Sacrament is exposed during the 45 minutes of silent prayer in the morning and each evening they have a Holy Hour. I believe the Contemplative Sisters have a similar schedule but I remember hearing that they have perpetual adoration though I am not certain about that. http://www.communityofstjohn.com/ http://www.soeursapostoliquesdesaintjean.com/index.php?lg=fr
Nunsuch
I think the Daughters of St. Paul have regular Eucharistic Adoration: http://www.daughtersofstpaul.com/ And, of course, for contemplative life, the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration. Each monastery seems to have its own website, but they are easy to find.

katherineH
Yes, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration first came to mind. I know the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, MI also have a holy hour with the Blessed Sacrament exposed each day.
