Even our Bible says that ishmael will rule with a sword, these are Gods direct prophecy over the line of ishamel. Why the shock? The world is far from God and going back to pagansim why would ishmael not try and subdue the enemy with a sword? Though i suspect these poor muslims, and like your st thomas banner says, these are all poor men, where are they getting there funding? Who is scared of God? Satan!

Not saying i agree with muslims demanding shiite law in other nations but in there own nations this is fine, and perhaps the sword that God talks of is the sword of Truth and is a word thing and not a weapon thing at all and scripture has been mis interpreted.

I dont believe in convert or die but also dont believe any philosophy should be banned no matter how corrupt or misled, i believe in freedom, though i too believe that some things definitely need to be illegal but a philosophy is not one of them, heck your nation allows satanism to be an official religion which actually has gathering places to hold there dark masses. But there not killing anyone! How sure are you of that? The New world order will attempt to suppress, water down or ban any group whether religious or not that stands against there ideals in any way, shape or form, live and let live will mean ' silence is a virtue'. Praying, free counselling and Protesting outside abortion clinics in my state in australia was just made illegal a few days ago.

And the only way to defeat them is with prayer,mediation,following the way to the best of your knowledge and understanding of what that is, fervent worthy participation in the holy mass and the blessed sacraments etc etc. And winning as many souls as you can with the grace of God before you die. And primarily loving others, being charitable, and seeking those that are open to the truth and harvesting there hearts for the LORD! And not slothful about all this thinking that the mission is just going to descend from the sky and say " hey hey hey lets go get em." because He already did, now lets get to it huh.

Oh this indeed is a holy war and it can not be faught with materialistic weapons of mass destruction it needs to be faught with weapons of the Spirit, and this war has been waging for over 2000 years, mohummads application may be wrong but his desperation to save souls and have them believe in the one true God is correct, though of course God can save anyone he so chooses believer or not none are exempt from the gift of grace since Jesus died on the cross for all men not just a few men, none are exempt from Gods voice now he speaks to all and calls them to repent and turn from unrighteousness and become charitable, what is he saying to you?

can you only choose to vote for 2 people? Why not vote an underdog, a vote for an underdog is one less vote for either candidate even if the underdog doesn't get in statistics will show that it wasn't a majority slide and also your conscience will be elevated for choosing to do what is right and true even when you loose.

voting is soooo important if you don't want the freaks to take over as they perhaps have because no one is voting. What are the comparison of voters now days from JFK's days, i bet many more where voting back than, people are lazy now days and i rekon its because the multi tasking section of there brains have been effected by moving pictures. And everyone having a T.V only started around JFKs time although people had t.v's it wasn't everyone, and the serious side effects of it prob doesn't take effect for 21-26 years. Seriously though some chick told me T.V causes tunnel vision and i meditated upon this and prayed to God and he revealed to me it does and that tunnel vision effects the part of the brain for multi tasking, something to do with peripheral vision and seeing only some of the picture and not the whole.

That is an unfortunate attitude.   Would you rather be the dictator and you personally pick the President by yourself?

i believe you can fool anyone part of the time, but not everyone all of the time.  Nor do I think anyone is perfect.

  I always vote, and have since I was 18.   Sometimes I voted for the winner, often not.  My vote never "did not matter".   I registered my opinion along with many others   Sometimes we were the majority    Sometimes we were a significant minority and losing and winning candidates tweaked their behavior for the next election or maybe more people changed their minds.  

We live in a society and it takes many to be informed and voice their opinion to help guide and choose our leaders.   I try do do my small part though some may think it's insignificant.  I'm also a little relieved it's not all my responsibility.

I don't always agree with your positions and opinions, Josh.  But I do recognize you're essentially a good man with passion and brings a different perspective to issues.   Of course you should vote.  Two heads are probably better than one.  Maybe together were more accurate than just one perspective.   If so, two have more of an impact than one.   If not, maybe smarter people than us will care enough to vote and overcome our error.   If people engage and care to participate in society, it eventually is the best for all.

PARIS (ChurchMilitant.com) - In the wake of the November 13 Paris terrorist attacks that claimed more than 130 lives, the French government is ordering up to 160 mosques to be shut down in the coming months. Raids have revealed large stashes of weapons and ammunition.

The government's emergency powers grant it the right to take this extraordinary measure, and mosques that are unlicensed or have a history of "preaching hatred" are being singled out.

One of France's chief imams, Hassan El Alaoui, said last Wednesday, "According to official figures and our discussions with the interior ministry, between 100 and 160 more mosques will be closed because they are run illegally without proper licenses, they preach hatred, or use takfiri speech." Takfiri speech involves sectarian slurs leveled by one Muslim against fellow Muslims.

"This kind of speech shouldn't even be allowed in Islamic countries, let alone secure countries like France," El Alaoui said.

Weapons and ammunition seized from a mosque

Meanwhile, several of these mosques have been raided, revealing a "staggering" number of weapons and ammunition. Sunday, authorities conducted a raid on a mosque in Lagny-sur-Marne, 18 miles east of Paris, and uncovered 334 weapons and a large quantity of 7.62mm Kalashnikov ammunition, along with ISIS propaganda videos.

Police also turned up recordings of chants "glorifying the martyrs of jihad linked to the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra," the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda. The chants were found among teaching materials for youth in a madrassa, or private religious school for boys, connected to the mosque. According to the prefecture of police, "No request was made to open a private school."

And is this unprecedented? In 1980 Jimmy Carter went further than Trump has suggested by not only banning Iranians from entering the country but invalidating any existing VISAS. Additionally, all college students that were here on a VISA had to report to immigration offices at once to be deported.

I don't think it really matters who is president. That's not really where the power lies. The power always lies with the people with the $$$ to lobby congress and change laws.

I think it was @Credo in Deum who posted a cool little video once about how the opinion of the 99% has absolutely no effect on the actual laws enacted but it sure does for the top 1%. I'm too lazy to find it again, but it was true story.

Yes. We routinely lecture to those classes. Economy went south with the price of oil though. That actually means the universities are packed.

I love that in Texas, who we elect to govern the state actually does produce results...in the last gubernatorial election, we had a clear pro-life candidate vs a rabid abortion advocate.  The pro-lifer won in a landslide.  In fact, almost all the important positions in the state were filled by conservatives.  The Governor has been instrumental in closing down almost all planned parenthood clinics in our state.  They are so pissed, they've taken him to the Supreme Court, which will decide if its against our constitution to place hurdles in a woman's quest to kill her unborn child...(but all PP really cares about is the $$$$$$$$ they will lose.)

In terms of pro-life issues, we would need a pro-life president in the next term.  We are making strides to de-fund planned parenthood and we can't do that if the president keeps veto-ing prolife legislation that reaches his desk...also, we would have a friend in the White House who wouldn't bully the Little Sisters of the Poor and other Catholic charities who don't want to follow the unjust laws that have been enacted in this country regarding "health" care...

Our candidates are far from perfect, but there are a few who I know (the good senator from Texas for example) who would do all he can to help pro-life causes.  On this issue alone, it is very important who is president...
