An American artist had an aunt in the Visitation convent at Annecy. She took lots of photos over the years, and now she has converted some of them to paintings. She also made a film - about 13 minutes - about her aunt, visiting her through the years, the process of converting the photos to paintings. It's kind of interesting!

I really like how she starts her article "There is a part of my heart that was left in Annecy France. I can close my eyes and see it, I can open my soul and feel it rush in. "  I have a few places in my memory like that and she finds just the right words.
