Julie Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I'm interested in learning more about Franciscan spirituality, but googling yields not-very-good results. Id love any info or any advice about books to read etc. Thanks!
DominicanHeart Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Anything about Francis or Clare would be good I'm sure.
MarysLittleFlower Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I really liked the books little flowers of St Francis, and life of St Francis by St Bonaventure... They're not treatises on the spirituality but seemed to help me understand some of it. Maybe looking at the life of the founder is a great way to tell
NadaTeTurbe Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 If you're looking for an historical point of view : http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2196084.Saint_Francis_of_Assisi by Jacques Le Goff and a well written book by G.K Chesterton : http://www.amazon.com/St-Francis-Assisi-G-K-Chesterton/dp/0385029004
