It was reported that she was deformed (curvature of the spine). The King divorced her; the Pope declared her marriage invalid. She founded the Order after the dissolution of her marriage. Also, they follow the Rule of the Ten Virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary (composed by a Franciscan Friar, Blessed Gabriel Mary, O.F.M.).
