DameAgnes Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 The veil looks different to me http://aleteia.org/2016/08/01/being-catholic-doesnt-smell of elderberries/
NadaTeTurbe Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Tried to google it. Maybe it's a stock photo, or the transitionnal habit of a dominican community ?
truthfinder Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Could also be an active Dominican community. But because of the b&w I can't actually tell if that habit is entirely white or some other two-tone colouration which would send us in a very different direction.
Sr Mary Catharine OP Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think it is a stock photo from a Spanish country because of the black bandeau. I doubt it is a "real" Dominican.
truthfinder Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 found the stock photo https://www.masterfile.com/image/en/654-08231396/Disappointed-nun-Masterfile's-licensor-warrants-that-no-model-release-is-required-for-this-image
Chiquitunga Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 This page used it for an article about the Littleton Carmels fencing problem http://www.rawstory.com/2016/04/colorado-nunnery-gets-okay-to-build-higher-fence-to-stop-people-from-chasing-elderly-nuns/
