Justified Saint Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Anybody ready this book by Roy H. Schoeman? I watched him with Fr. Pacwa on EWTN Live and on Catholic Answers. His story is simply amazing and he is such an eloquent speaker. I can't wait to get the book - it's on the way. (I got it for one dollar for joining a book club, scandalous bargain )
Justified Saint Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 Its called the Conservative Book Club I believe. It is really a political book club with a bunch of right-wing propaganda. I wouldn't have joined but for some of the Catholic books they have. If you join you get three books for a dollar each so I figured what the hay. On its way now is, Salvation is From the Jews, Goodbye, Good Men, and America's Bishop
chocolate thunder Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 This is a topic taken to heart by the good folks of that wonderfully Christ-centered and erudite journal, First Things... 'tis a shame that the right-wing club has co-opted it, but, alas... I DO heartily suggest that you tap into the journal or its website (firstthings.com) to follow the topic further...
