I have a friend who was raised very vaguely Protestant, currently more of a "none" and has been flirting with Catholicism for some time (started RCIA once, dropped out because of an uncharitable catechist). She's just asked me to recommend a good guided Bible study, since she's "trying to like read the Bible maybe".

Any suggestions for a beginner Bible study, something that would be good for a typical college student in her early 20s who is not terribly familiar with the basics of Christianity?

I'm not physically very near to her right now, so a podcast/website/book that she could do on her own would be really nice!

Help would be MUCH appreciated (also prayers).

This website is both orthodox and free http://agapebiblestudy.com/   Also some Bible translations like the NABRE and the  Ignatius  Study Bible come with succinct commentary.

God bless
