Reception of habit, Terre Haute Carmel

[PrayerSupporter]

On the feast of the Transfiguration August 6th postulant Cindy was clothed with the habit of Carmel.  She received the religious name Sister Maria of the Holy Family.    http://heartsawake.org/news/clothing-cindy/

How lovely!  From one of the pictures, it looks like they have another postulant (or someone in the phase earlier than Cindy.  I'm hopelessly confused by terminology.)

Prayers for sister Maria. This is a lovely name, very simple and biblical.

The website is also very well done !

Yes, the have a postulant (I think her name is Jennifer?) and Sister Christine who made first vows within the past year or so. I also see another sister-- she looks like another novice, but I didn't know they had another one... maybe she is a transfer sister?

Thank you for sharing this lovely news. Sister Maria looking so radiantly happy as she received her habit.
