1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I'm sitting down working on my second cup of coffee today and I'm trying to drink my coffee black now. I'm a big fan of cream and sugar in mine, but I want to get just the coffee as the sugar isn't really good for me and all we really have here is creamer, which isn't nearly as good as real cream.
Lil Red Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 i like my coffee with sugar. i'm cutting down on the amount of sugar i put in though, cuz i use too much.
~*AnCoRa33*~ Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I prefer a little coffee with my cream!! But I'd still get Starbucks over the coffee pot!!
master_alterserver Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 my dad drinks it black...and they two times I´ve finished the pot I´ve had it with sugar
Thy Geekdom Come Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I have my coffee like I have my women...non-existent.

Luthien Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I love coffee, I drank some this morning. Thats usually my breakfast.
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 I just finished a cup of it black. Gag! It wasn't bad the first half of the cup, but I really missed the sugar on the home stretch. It was like drinking burned beans. Maybe I'll get some Splenda. The taste is so bad I popped a Penguin in my mouth. Gotta love caffeinated breath mints.
Lil Red Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Splenda is actually very good - not like Sweet n Low at all! i use sugar though, cuz we have a sugar beet factory in my town, so i feel like i'm being disloyal if i don't use sugar
Sojourner Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I love coffee, drink it every morning faithfully. I like it with cream (half-n-half, non of that flavored stuff or powdered stuff), no sugar. I really don't like sweetened coffee. I used to, but not anymore. And I make mine in a French press. It tastes better than doing it in regular coffee maker. Mmmm ...
HomeTeamFamily Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 i take my coffee chilled, citrus flavored, and in a mountain dew bottle

Mmmm ...
Where did you get a French press?? I want one so so bad. I've looked in all the usualy places, but I;m guessing it's one of those things that I'll have to order -_- I like my coffee...often. We're talking 2 to 4 cups a day. Sometimes 5 depending on how much sleep I've gotten. Me like coffee  But it has to be good quality beans. I'm not a big fan of flavored coffees. Costa Rican beans, Kona beans, basically any semi-tropical bean. It makes the coffee slightly fruity and nutty. Mmmm...

Pyrite Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 (edited) I just got addicted to coffee over the weekend (I am now an "official" Physics major), so I pretty much drink my coffee anyway I can get it. Today, I've had two Starbucks before noon, so I think I'm well on my way to becoming an addict. Mmm, coffee. Edited June 22, 2004 by Pyrite
voiciblanche Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 What is all this about Starbucks? Starbucks is good, yeah, but it's not coffee. It's like the BMW of coffee. Not as good as the Ferrari, of course, but waay better than the majority (your VWs and Toyotas, etc.) Starbucks is the BMW, I don't know what the Ferrari is, but I'm sure it's out there, and the VWs and Toyotas are your Folgers and your store-brands. So, don't get used to Starbucks. Lol. Cuz there's like no other coffee that tastes anything like that.

The reason Starbucks is so good is because they do coffee RIGHT. So it is coffee, it's just not overprocccessed, badly brewed, or cheaply grown. It all depends on how it's done. And Starbucks does it gooood. You know what else is really good...Tim Horton's. Yumm. It's Canadian!
voiciblanche Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Yeah... Starbucks is sooo good. Not like my sister's, which tastes like... um... carp. It's terrible. Poor thing... it's good thing she doesn't get to make it very much, because if she did... I think I'd just give it to her every time.
