I've always been really fond of Leonie.  So exciting to hear her canonization is getting closer to reality!

It sounds like there's already been miracles, which means that, deo vult, if she's made venerable the case towards canonization should hopefully be rather smooth. I've liked Leonie as long as I've known about her; I think many people who do not like Therese because she comes off as too saccharine would like her, and they essentially followed the same way: Leonie as Therese's first follower of a sorts.

That whole family had a receptivity to holiness, from what I've read. The parents are canonized, Therese is canonized, Leonie is moving toward canonization...wow. That's amazing.

I have always like Leonie, while not knowing all that much in detail about her.  I was going to ask for a good book.
