Antigonos Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Well...as the mother of three, and the grandmother of three more, and a [retired] nurse and midwife, I can say that not just my profession, but the business of raising a family is the hardest possible work, and without any postulancy or noviciate to "form" one to perform it suitably. I don't know that I'd call it a vocation, though. I think I'd just call it "life".
