Iowa Trappistines on Today Show

[Luigi]

The Today show aired a 2-minute feature on the candy-making Trappist nuns in Iowa recently. The video may have a 30-second commercial at the beginning. I couldn't figure out how to nip it in the bod. Sorry about that!

Iowa public television produced a longer segment - almost 7 minutes - on the same nuns and their same candy production. In this one, you hear from more nuns, you get some history, some of their approach to monasticism, the blending of work and prayer, etc. And there's no introductory commercial, either!

Thank you for sharing this lovely video of the Trappist nuns in Iowha. They are most industrious and the candy looks mouthwatering. !!

I have sent their candies as Christmas presents many times. They are wonderful! I visited there once, and the sisters are lovely.

Oh my, that caramel looks so good! If I joined there, I would be tempted to pig out!
