Hawthorne Dominicans change their habit

So glad to see this as the capelets are a more beautiful design and create more of a flow that could be seen in the older habits.  The Hawthorne veil is different, with a wider white band and it is shorter then the Nashville’s.

I presume the capelet is removed when tending the sick.  It's not very practical, and can transmit infection.
