The more I see and read about the Poor Clares, the more I grow fond of them. It is great to notice that the Church is still thriving, even in difficult times. I had a somewhat hard task to do on the 4th of October, and I felt better about it thinking about St. Francis, feeling like he was watching over me (his patronage had something to do with the task too, so it was all rather fitting). 

I also notice that there are actually a lot of women in the Church and on this website. They told me that the religious world did not approve of female emancipation, but my experience proves otherwise. Pax et bonum, sister (I presume you are a female yourself, excuse me if this isn't the case).
