Local politics are very important.  Right now there is legislation proposed in Florida to require parental consent prior to allowing a minor to obtain an abortion.

Please support these legislators, its easy to do. Go to FLCCB.org.   They have a link via FLCAN.   While there, go ahead and sign up to get notified on Florida legislative issues that address life and justice issues.   If I can do it, you practicing Catholics can certainly pay attention to your Bishops.

Nearly 30 years ago the Florida Supreme Court struck down a similar law.

a Senate Republican has proposed a new measure that would require minors to receive the consent of their parents or guardians before having abortions. 
 This proposal does not restrict or prevent access to abortion, it only asks for parental rights over there minor children.

It’s a no-brain’er
