It’s hard to believe that a person could rise above such adversity and not only prosper but rise to top of our political system.
it’s rumored that his wife may step in his place and run for his office.  I would vote for her if I could but I live in a different part of the country

In the future, people will look on Mr Cummings legacy the same way we look on say, Robert Byrd. He was an institution but also a Klan member. Mixed legacy.

It's frankly really dysfunctional and banana republicy that his wife is gonna take his seat. Super odd. Very Baltimore though.

That’s a little harsh, my dear
If the late senators wife Decides to run for office and is elected it could hardly be considered dysfunctional or banana republic’ie

Why do you feel this way?

Because that's a tradition among dictators of banana republics. The strongman dies and then his wife is "elected".
