Here in Jerusalem, the weather is fine, the stars are out, it's about 50F, and the city is packed with tourists, since both Hanukah week and Christmas coincide this year.  The Christians, of course, will be heading to Bethlehem later this evening.  It's only about 4 km from Jerusalem's town center; I'd see the lights from my house except for the intervening ridge.
